Grant awarded to All Saints Church, Handley

At its annual meeting in May the Parish Council agreed a grant of £3,000 to All Saints Church, Handley, towards the upkeep of the church and its grounds.

All Saints is the oldest building in the parish and sits at the heart of village life. As well as regular services it hosts community events throughout the year, and its churchyard is maintained as a quiet green space open to everyone. The grant recognises the contribution the church makes to the whole community, not only to those who worship there.
